Gardens are my passion
I started working as a gardener in 2007 initially focusing on garden maintenance for large established gardens in West London developing my knowledge of plants, trees and the gardening calendar. In 2010 I set up my own landscaping business. Initially working across London, as my reputation and recommendations grew I began to focus more locally on Walthamstow and surrounding East London. I created amazing outdoor spaces across a range of garden styles and improved and refined both my hard and softscaping skills.

As an active member of my local community I supported a Walthamstow community gardening group. I designed and planted up new street flower beds and also created the first flower beds in a local park, Thomas Gamuel in E17. With a group of my neighbours we created a beautiful public realm, introducing wildlife friendly planting and training the group to effectively maintain the new spaces and continue to develop and improve them.
In 2019, having got married, I followed the now popular path relocating from Walthamstow to Folkestone to buy my first home and love living by the sea and here begins my challenge of starting my business for the second time. I’m still getting lots of London based requests for work but am keen to make Folkestone my home and workplace.
Gardens are my absolute passion. Whether I am developing a brand new garden or renewing a key element: designing, building, caring for them and watching how they grow and evolve, is always an absolute pleasure. I prefer to support the environment in my practice and minimise the use of chemicals and aim to source my materials from local suppliers.
My experience includes:
* Full package garden design and installation.
* Garden design - having worked in outdoor spaces for the majority of professional career I am able to effectively plan your garden to meet the identified budget.
* Landscaping of new spaces - I am able to install your garden design and can also work with you to advise on feasibility of outline ideas.
* Installation of key garden elements:
- new patios
- decking including seating and storage
- garden sheds and rooms. (also from locally found and reclaimed materials)
- fencing and boundaries. Working across both level spaces and inclined to provide the framework for your space.
- hedge maintenance and installation.
- new lawns, lawn repair, levelling of grassed areas. I prefer not to install AstroTurf as I’m able to provide environmentally friendlier options for your space but have experience of this
- garden maintenance. My plant knowledge can tame a previously unloved borders. Bring balance back to the garden with ongoing maintenance. I have been a trusted key holder for many clients needing regular visits
- tree care: pruning and shaping of small trees.
- I’ve also got a wealth of experience creating both practical and beautiful small London front gardens.
